Rado Petkov
Rado Petkov leads Westwood Capital’s alternative energy practice. He works with alternative energy project developers and equipment manufacturers to help structure and arrange growth and project financing, identify and help execute strategic business transactions, and assist in the opening of new markets for clients’ products and projects.

Prior to joining Westwood in 2005, Rado was a Vice President at Shelbourne Capital Partners, a financial advisory boutique with focus on media and early stage technology companies. Prior to that, he worked at Lehman Brothers Eurasia Group, an emerging markets political risk consultancy, where he was responsible for developing consulting relationships with leading institutional investors in emerging markets. Rado’s professional experience includes business development work in the IT sector and economic policy research and advisory work at the EastWest Institute, an international policy think-tank.

He received bachelors and masters degrees from the New School University in New York and MBA training from the New York University Stern School of Business.
