Mark W. Gross
Mark Gross has over 20 year experience as a corporate and investment banker in the US, Brazil, Latin America and Asia.

He is a Managing Director at Westwood Capital where he advises clients in the technology, consumer products, food and agribusiness, and financial services sectors in the US and internationally.

Prior to joining Westwood, he was Managing Director & Head of International Investment Banking at Dominick & Dominick. At Standard Chartered Bank, a UK-based emerging markets-focused international bank, he was Country CEO – Head of Origination & Client Coverage for Brazil where he advised US and foreign multinationals in oil & gas, mining, agribusiness, commodities trading, manufacturing, telecom & technology. He was also statutory CEO of StanChart’s regulated Brazilian bank and brokerage unit.

Previously, he led American Express Bank International Brazil, a joint venture between Amex and Brazilian investment bank Banco SRL, whose clients included large and mid-size Brazilian growth companies, financial institutions and family offices.

Other senior roles include President & CEO of American Express/Ameriprise Bank FSB, which provides mortgage, banking, credit card and trust services to private wealth clients, Amex Cardmembers and others in the United States. He also led Global Strategy & Corporate Development units at both Standard Chartered and American Express. During his career, he has steered M&A and capital markets transactions in the US and international markets valued at over $50 billion.

Mr. Gross has served on the boards of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, Ameriprise Bank FSB, American Express Bank Brazil and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Brazil Chapter. He was a speaker at the World Economic Forum on the subject of Asian-Latin American Trade and Investment linkages.

He holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University and a B.A. from Rutgers College of Rutgers University.
